INDIA, Pre-Mauryan (Ganges Valley). Kashi Janapada. Circa 450-400 BC. Karshapana (Silver, 23 mm, 4.24 g). Four punches, including a pair of geometric symbols and a pair of symbols with whorled design. Rev. Small countermark of a solar symbol. Hardaker II, p. 148, KA 132. Very rare. Somewhat cleaned, otherwise, very fine.
